And it’s a happy one indeed for us here at home cause my ‘little client’ has chosen his preferred tiles and the laying down of the floor has begun!

Living on a renovation site is something else though and junior doesn’t understand why it’s taking so long!

It’s this instant world I tell you, got me running off my feet to please my soon to be teen!

But it’s all coming together very nicely and I’m sure much more will be covered on the weekend...👩🏽‍🎨

After all the old tiles were removed, the walls were sanded and prepped and are currently being rhinolited.

This right here is giving me hope that soon our project will be complete.

But until then, we’re happily trying out various samples and holding loads of meetings and discussions around our next designer additions.

We’re keeping it simple, that’s for sure - ‘little client’ doesn’t like over the top anything and has given me strict instructions to play it low key... 👩🏽‍🎨

So we’ve changed from single to mixer taps and a bit of behind the scenes work had to be done to achieve this.

Personally, mixers are so easy to use and just add that extra level of ease to our daily lives.

With one gentle turn to the left or right, you’ll find yourself in home spa haven.

My ‘client’ is big on long, leisurely baths and hates to be ‘inconvenienced with the hot and cold separate taps, so this will certainly be a great treat for him.

Thanks @cobrataps we changed to mixer taps at bath, vanity and shower...👩🏽‍🎨

This is the state we’re ending our renovation works this Easter Weekend.

The dust was too much, lots going on around here and we so wish we could disappear to a lovely clean hotel suite for a few days.

My ‘client’ has been glued to his PlayStation since close of school, while I’ve been sweeping up behind everyone.

Maybe if I hide his Easter eggs underneath all the rubble, there could be some well needed support around here... 🐣

There has been a lot of behind the scenes prep work going on here at home, so that we can be ready to execute our most important home makeover project ever!

Prince K’s bathroom has required tons of off site prep and shopping around of which we will be sure to share all in the coming weeks.

Grateful @cobrataps for coming on board with some beautiful taps that are really going to help transform my son’s bathroom into his own mini spa - because he’s Boss like that.

I can’t wait to get started, his birthday is coming up soon and I promised him that the makeover will be complete by then...👩🏽‍🎨
